Jordan Open is the only FIDE-rated tournament in Morogoro. It takes place every December and attracts the best chess players from Tanzania (national champions, some of the top 10 Tanzanian chess players). It is an international tournament as chess players from three continents participate (obviously Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique, India, Poland, Germany). Thus, it allows chess fans to obtain or increase FIDE rating.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
